If you have reported an error, but it seems I have gone quiet, it's probably because I don't check steam notifications often. The error will be towards the end if you have recently had a crash. If you see anything related to this specific mod, let me know in the comments what the error is. The best I can say is look through it - I probably wouldn't paste the whole thing here because it may have sensitive data like your folder structure / computer name / username. This file logs all the errors having to do with Cities Skylines.
#Cities skylines unlock all tiles at start mod#
This goes for most other "tiles" mods as well! This mod does some very specific tasks in order to initialize which may break if other mods perform similar actions.
Works best with "All Spaces Unlockable" 25 tiles mod by S. Like we have stated in the Reddit AMA and here on the forums, the map size in Cities: Skylines is 9 tiles which we know you can run with the supported hardware. This mod unlocks the tiles without affecting money or milestones. First of all we apologize for this unbelievable mess in communication and misleading information that you have received on the modding of the map size. This won't unlock all the tiles when a previous game is loaded. Yeah, not rushing to buy the tile.Extremely simple mod for Cities: Skylines to unlock all available tiles at start of a new game. I just hit a progression milestone, guess what, most likely I just finished building a major part of the city and I just want to see how it operates from now on. I like the notification, I like the new buildings, I LOVE the cash and new loans too that I can use to get those buildings I just saw, tiles I usually leave until I wanna build something. No building unlocking or new policies or option to make districts or use different industries, it's all there from the start.Īnd is the tile unlocking a significant part of the satisfaction we get from the progression? Well, for me it's not. No development from small village to a thriving city there. On the other, you can play Vanilla+25 tile mod+everything unlocked and you have the tiles, however all the satisfying progression is taken out and you start with 2m in cash which pretty much means you start building BIG. However, you eventually, and quite quickly, reach the point where you have a fairly big city, you have A LOT of cash to spend, and yet because of poor residency demands or because you don't want to expand at your current areas, you only have, say, 4 tiles unlocked. On one hand, you can play Vanilla+25 tile mod and you slowly unclock buildings and get satisfying landmark screens, there is a sense of progression.
